Oil on canvas, variation on the theme of the horizon and winter composed of blues, whites and grays. Subtle, the yellow allows the gaze to embrace the pictorial plane as a whole.

I produced this work, facing the sea, in my studio in Anse-au-Griffon. Although abstract, this painting is a fairly faithful representation of the Gulf of St. Lawrence in winter.

On its ice dunes, the gusts, a sudden and momentary increase in the wind, create a sometimes slight movement of the snow rising towards the sky.
